Tracy Mcgrady has yet to lead his team, the Houston Rockets, to the playoffs, but he easily could at any time. He is an outstanding basketball player, but he is often plagued with injuries. Yet, he pushes through them and has emerged as one of the better players in the NBA. He proves that no matter how hard it is, it can be done.

Vince Carter started his career with the Toronto Raptors, but now he plays for the New Jersey Nets. He won the 2002 NBA slam dunk contest, and that isn’t the only thing he can do. He has led his team to the second round of the playoffs, and he wants to take them all the way to the championship. He is one of the best in terms of scoring inside, and he is not easily stopped outside the perimeter. Carter has won world-wide recognition for his outstanding skills.

Steve Nash of the Phoenix suns led his team to an NBA championship. Many believe he has the ability to do it again. He is somewhat short, but it does not hinder him at all. He is very good at getting inside and scoring, and he is deadly from the 3-point line. He is a very good basketball player, and many people have recognized his talents.

Have you ever wanted to be the best at something? Some people spend their whole lives trying to be the best at something. Some people try to be the best at football. Others work at hockey, or baseball. And some people play basketball. Those who want to be a star basketball player model their game after some of the best, such as Steve Nash, Vince Carter, and Tracy Mcgrady.
